Before I committed to putting down my thoughts and feelings about this year's New York Metropolitan Museum of Art’s fashion Gala, I thought I would let a little time pass. Like a mass casualty event it’s best to cool down before reacting; let the initial pangs of outrage and horror subside before attempting to come to any firm conclusions. Being the victim of an assault often clouds judgement, it can fog a clear perception of what happened and why. Best to calm down, step back, and wait.
